Grace Goro Kaage is a high-end residential real estate specialist and top producing agent out of @properties largest Illinois office at Goose Island in Chicago.
She was recognized by Crain’s as one of the Most Influential Real Estate Brokers in Chicago 2018 and by Chicago Agent Magazine in their 2018 ‘Who’s Who’ edition. Her team is a 2017 Top Producer Team as recognized by the Chicago Association of Realtors.
Grace comes from a family with deep ties to the Chicagoland real estate community. Her father, Chuck Goro, was the former vice president and managing broker for Koenig & Strey GMAC and later Coldwell Banker’s Lincoln Park offices with over 40 years of experience. Chuck was Grace’s mentor until his passing in February of 2017. Grace’s three sisters are also in real estate: Taira (née Goro) Doherty is a residential real estate broker at Jameson, Gwen Goro is a residential real estate broker with Grace’s team at @properties, and Julie (née Goro) Braglia is a mortgage broker at Lakeside Bank. Further, Grace’s grandfather, Roy Benson, founded Benson Realty out of Orland Park, and her brother-in-law, Brian Doherty, is a developer with Doherty Development.
In order to make sure that her clients’ needs are addressed quickly and consistently, Grace surrounds herself with a team of highly-skilled professionals. They practice immediate response times and work diligently to accommodate their clients’ specific ambitions. From initial orientation to staging and photography to market strategy, Grace works extensively to prepare her properties for market. Her detail-oriented approach allows her to procure the highest possible purchase price for her sellers. She proceeds with her buyers in a similar fashion, insisting on individualized service for each client from start to finish.
While she has experience across Chicagoland, Grace enjoys working by referral and specializes in Chicago’s north side and the surrounding suburbs, including her home town of Park Ridge.
Grace serves as the Chair for the 2018-2019 Chicago Association of Realtors® Young Professionals Network (YPN). She is also the founder of the Prostate Cancer League, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness to prevent and treat prostate cancer in honor of her late father. The PCL has raised over $50,000 for prostate cancer awareness to date.
